Brock Edward Lesnar was born on the 12th of July, 1977 in Webster, South Dakota.
He grew up on a dairy farm and so from a young age he was no stranger to hard work and manual labor.
He attended Webster High School where he took a liking to football and amateur wrestling.
Because of the work he did on the farm, he was much bigger than most of the other kids at his school, and he had a very impressive physique.
He was also as strong as an Ox.
He received a wrestling scholarship at the University of Minnesota, and in 2000 he won the NCAA division at heavyweight.
He won numerous other amateur accolades and was scouted by officials from the WWE, then WWF.
Brock was signed to the WWF on a developmental deal in 2000.
He began training at their developmental territory OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling).
Brock was 6ft 3 and weighed over 285 pounds, yet he was ripped to shreds.
He was incredibly strong, yet he moved like a cruiserweight.
In 2002 he was called up to the main roster, and he debuted on March 18th, 2002 Raw, the night after Wrestlemania.
He went on to have arguably the most successful rookie career ever.
He won the King of the Ring and the WWE championship that same year, defeating The Rock at Summerslam.
He rose to the top of the WWE but disliked the travel and being on the road.
In 2004 he decided to leave.
After unsuccessfully trying out for the Minnesota Vikings, Lesnar decided to take up MMA.
He fought once in Japan in 2006, before being signed to the UFC.
Lesnar looked to be the aggressor in his first fight with Frank Mir, but a mistake resulted in Lesnar tapping.
He redeemed himself in his next bout, defeating Heath Herring, and then UFC legend Randy Couture, who Lesnar defeated to become the UFC Heavyweight champ.
Lesnar faced Mir in a rematch, and won in impressive style, dominating Mir throughout.
Lesnar would go on to fight three more times, losing his final 2 bouts.
He was suffering from diverticulitis and had several feet of his intestines removed months prior, which no doubt affected his performance.
Lesnar made a comeback to the UFC back in 2016, facing and defeating Mark Hunt.
His win was later deemed a no contest as he failed a drugs test.

In 2012, Lesnar returned to the WWE on a part-time basis.
